Perceiving DOR
Spinning waves are - as Wilhelm Reich describes them - free orgone energy, i.e. not bound to matter. Orgone appears differently under different weather conditions.
Orgone is most alive when the sky is deep blue and there are strong, bright white cumulus clouds (cluster clouds near the earth) in the sky, when the horizon can be seen clearly and the clusters
of trees become darker (bluer) the further away they are. All these are criteria for a lively, fresh atmosphere.
On the other hand, orgone is not so free to move when the relative humidity is high and the sky is "hazy" or pale and blue-grey. There are no or only fibrous cumulus clouds in the sky. The
horizon is white or brown to purple and black with haze. The groups of trees and bushes are whiter the further away they are. These are all criteria for "DOR" (Deadly ORgone), which is what Reich
called an energetic situation in which the earth's atmosphere freezes. DOR is the cause of desertification. DOR destroys all life. The soil loses the ability to nourish micro-organisms, plant
growth dies and the most highly developed plants, the trees, perish first. Reich described the phenomenon of tree death, which has only been known to classical natural science since the 1970s, as
early as the beginning of the 1950s, as a symptom of desertification in the northern latitudes, the result of a worldwide DOR catastrophe.
Orgone and DOR - the living and the degenerate forms of orgone - are clearly visually recognisable. This grossest of subtle energies is so clearly visible that it can even be filmed or
photographed.
Orgone can be seen as a flowing, tremulous movement over the horizon when the atmosphere is vital and highly charged (i.e. low relative humidity = less than about 50%). This energy flow is mostly
from west to east and is therefore easy to see on clear days when looking north or south, but only when there is no DOR in the atmosphere. (Then a whitish discolouration of the horizon can be
seen.) This flowing of atmospheric orgone is described by many as "heat flickering" because it looks similar to the shivering heat above a hotplate. But the flow of atmospheric orgone is clearly
sideways and not from bottom to top (so the sideways movement is clearly not heat flicker). This phenomenon can be seen particularly well on bitterly cold frosty days when the atmosphere is clear
and very dry in absolute terms. (Cold air stores less humidity).
The other phenomenon - DOR - is considerably more common than orgonotic flicker, and there are many different forms. DOR can be as distinct as fog, and many people think DOR is fog too. But fog
is always structured, never as monotonous and unmoving as DOR.
If you spend a holiday on the Mediterranean - the whole Mediterranean area belongs climatically to the Sahara desert - you can study very impressive DOR phenomena. The discolouration of the
horizon will often go into dark grey to black. Often you will see the sun dark red and large on the horizon sinking into the sea. And although there is not a single cloud in the sky, the sun's
disc is intersected by several black lines the closer it gets to the sea horizon. The light of the sun is simply not transported by the DOR. It is not dust particles and it is not moisture
(clouds) that partially eclipses the sun. It is the inability of the atmosphere to transport light under the influence of DOR.
All these phenomena - unlike the spinning waves - can also be filmed or photographed, so they are physically objectively present. Nevertheless, they do not belong to the human "catalogue of
perception". They are usually filtered out, ignored and interpreted away. You too will experience this if you tell someone for whom subtle energy simply does not exist. They point to the clearly
visible DOR discolouration of the horizon, to the white-covered trees and hedges and are told:
"Oh that? Yeah, that's just haze."
"What's haze?" you'll ask, and you'll get the answer:
"Well, humidity!"
"But the relative humidity is just 70%, it can't possibly be mist."
"Well, it's smog then." Perhaps your counterpart will now react a little more irritably, or - if you are a woman and your counterpart is male - you will be given a condescending smile.
You don't give up: "But I've also seen it in the desert and over the Mediterranean, there were definitely no industrial fumes there."
"All right, then it's dust. Or it's a refraction of light. Yes, it's an optical illusion created by the refraction of sunlight!"
You will see, it is difficult, almost impossible, to be convincing here. What I am saying is: it is a function of the mind, a matter of our conviction, what people see, even and especially when
the phenomenon is clearly visible. And depending on what his brain makes of a perception, the world is real or not for a person.
It would have unexpected consequences if a phenomenon like DOR were to enter cultural cognition. "Good weather" would suddenly no longer be "good". It is the greatest environmental catastrophe
the earth has to deal with: the cause of the global climate catastrophe and the destruction, i.e. devastation, of all the foundations of life on earth.
These phenomena cannot be discussed further here. I would just like to advise you not to get into any disagreements about energy perception with anyone until you have finished reading this text.
You will probably then have lost the desire to want to discuss what is at stake with other people on the right, if they do not contribute their own experiences, but only "opinions". That which
you can personally perceive should never become the object of evaluation by other people who do not experience this perception. What would this lead to? The only rational outcome of such a
discussion can be the admission by the other person that he/she does not know what is being talked about and that there is therefore no common basis for discussion.
And if you discuss the reality of subtle energy perception with her/him, you will quickly have a bogus discussion that is actually about questioning the people involved. This cannot go well. What
you can learn from the sham discussion I have had for you at this point, so that you do not fall into this trap: scientific and religious paradigms, i.e. irrefutable basic statements about
natural functions, are deeply anchored in the collective consciousness and thus in the consciousness of each individual human being. The paradigm shift regarding subtle energy is far from
complete.
Preparation:
Perhaps you have a clear view of the horizon from your home or workplace. If not, find a place in your immediate vicinity that you come to as often as possible (e.g. on your way to work), that is
as high up as possible and from which you have as wide a view of the horizon as possible - preferably to the north or south. If you have binoculars, take them with you. Get a hygrometer or look
for information about relative humidity in the weather report.
Exercise:
Observe and note the following parameters and record them in a table as you do this exercise over a few days or weeks.
Result:
You will notice that certain parameters always coincide. Deep blue sky meets sharply visible horizon and strongly formed cumulus clouds. And only in this weather situation is the flow of orgone
energy visible on the horizon. However, this natural situation of the atmosphere has unfortunately become very rare. You may have to wait months for it. Pale skies usually coincide with hazy
horizons and no or pitiful cumulus cloud formation (DOR).
Duration and repetitions of the exercise:
Make these observations conscientiously over a month and get into the habit of experiencing the energetic state of nature in this way.
